About Me

I am an experiential educator specializing in restorative adventures & narrative storytelling as a form of healing. I believe that giving voice to our experiences through adventure can provide a unique approach to the promotion of physical health and emotional well-being for individuals. After a lengthy battle with the rare brain disease, pseudotumor cerebri (PTC), or sometimes referred to as intracranial hypertension (IH), I went into remission and decided to thru-hike the Pacific Crest Trail, which ultimately led me to discover the healing power of nature. I have since cultivated a modality that combines experiential adventure activities and narrative expression as a tool for positive mental health and well-being.
